Weyhill Road East was blocked for 6 hrs today because of a fire at Appleshaw. Consequently all East bound traffic was diverted along Red Post Lane. At times it was taking 20 mins to get from one end to the other.

Along with literally dozens of HGV's including several foreign ones a Tesco HGV was also diverted, probably whilst using the Ludgershall road. Here are a few pictures of the HGV stationary alongside the proposed Airfield site. This may be a very familiar sight in years to come if Tesco and Goodman get their way and build a lorry park at the Andover Airfield instead of a business park.
