ALLIANCE www.stopmegasheds.co.uk 17 November 2008 Dear TVBC Planning Officers and Councillors Landscape Objections to Planning Application 07/01951/OUTN Please find enclosed the Report commissioned by the STOP! Alliance from Allen Pyke Associates detailing Landscape Objections to the current Goodman Application to be considered once again by TVBC Planning Control on 1st December. For ease of use, a one-page Executive Summary is also enclosed. As you are aware, STOP! supports wholeheartedly the allocation of the Andover Airfield for a mixed use Business Park. However, STOP! objects to the form and effect of the current Goodman application which will have far greater detrimental impacts, in both the short and long term, than is predicted in Goodman’s Environmental Statement. As Planning Officers and Councillors will be aware, this application was refused on sound planning grounds by the Northern Area Planning Committee. This Report reaffirms those sound planning grounds as they relate to Landscape and Environment.
